    My voltage dipped and sagged on heavy bass lines. I ran a second 1/0 gauge ofc direct from alt when I installed the sb-630 and even at lights while straight leaning on my system it's as steady as I've ever seen. Def FFAARR from dimming headlights. Now ima get a bigger amp seeing such stable voltage. I have 2 stinger 10 farad caps and a 2 farad on the mids amp. The sb630 made them totally pointless. Expensive but so well worth it. Props to xs power fosho! Note: if your going with the size "1200" the down4sound batt terminals do not fit, be sure to measure first!

    I purchased this from D4S, paid the cheap shipping option got it in under a week, lanyard & stickers gotta love JP. Installed into a 2011 Ford Escape XLT 3.0 V6 w/ 150-amp alt, running Sundown SAE-2000D & Audiocontrol LC4.800 and w/ one Optima Red Top 800CCA AGM battery my lights were damn near shutting off when the 60hz or upper 20hz notes hit and I was near full tilt. I installed this into my car directly replacing my T-Spec V8 3.0 farad capacitor and my god the difference, my system is louder, kicks harder, NO DIMMING AT ALL, can even have my high beams and fog lights on, car starts up like it's on crack this takes so much strain off of your electrical system it is so worth the investment it will save you money down the road. Charge it up slow and to the proper voltage and take care of it and it'll last you a looooonnnnggggggg time. This is the *SMART* way of getting a banging loud system w/o needing all sorts of batteries or a high output alternator.
