Description
The Ampere Audio 6.5c Dream Series speaker system features a 25mm silk dome tweeter that resides in a hardened plastic housing. The 6.5” midrange also features a single roll surround that eliminates unwanted resonances, acoustical artifacts and dampens mechanical vibrations. The tweeter and midrange have been specifically engineered with complex FEA analysis that perfectly optimizes the motor structures. Engineering a great tweeter and midrange is not enough to guarantee excellent sound quality so we added a touch of SQ Dust.
The overall result is a smooth, linear musical output with excellent spectral clarity without delivering overly bright or fatiguing high frequencies commonly found in most car audio component systems. The Dream Series speaker system provides a dynamic range and a life like musical realism that would please just about any audiophile.

Mmmmmm ear candy
Got my sets today and installed the front ones right away. All I can say is CANDY to the ear drums. Can’t wait to get the rear set in my tahoe tomorrow.

Ampere Audio dream series 6.5” comps
Wow! I’ve been in car audio since 2000 and for the last 10 years I haven’t had anything. However I do not remember any of my past owned components sounding this detailed and clear at high volumes. Comps are powered by channels 1/2 of a Sundown Audio 1100.5. They have no problem keeping up with the 15” Sundown SA V2 in the back. Highly recommend these components

Ampere dreams speakers
They are one of the best sounding speakers out there for the price point I'm sure people will say focal model the high end speakers or even hertz but let's see what you find that can handel the power these do at the same price point and you be the judge

Dream Series is right!
This is a very good sounding componet set, perfect for an SQL set up . These will keep up with the best pro audio mid with a much higher sound quality. Good mid bass, and the tweeters blend perfectly. I was going to run it active, but it sounds so good using the diodes I decided to use them . I have them powered by a sundown 200.4 at 1ohm ,so they should be getting about 250 watts per channel. They are crossed over at 80hz. I'm amazed and will be ordering more.
