Previously, I had the Rockford Fostage midranges they were Ok. But these speakers are awesome for the clarity and loundness.

I've had many sound systems in my cars and in my family's cars. I've had Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, Alpine, Kenwood, Bose,db Audio, Polkaudio, Power Acoustic, Memphis , and many more. These are hands down the best I've ever heard or I've even had. The price is great, and you're not just paying for a name. You actually get quality for what you pay. I put these in the doors and rear of my 350z and I absolutely love them and don't mind the many brutal hours it took to install these. It was well worth the effort and time. Please note that not all vehicles will need modifications to install these speakers but some will. Also check the mounting depth before you get these. I already knew I had to have spacers for the door speakers that I easily made. Also note that you may need professional help with audio. Ask before you purchase unless you have the means to get around it. Thank you D4S for these. I will buy them again .

I've been pushing 100w RMS @4Ω to each of these for over a month now and they are holding up well. They seem to handle the lower end better than my old mids. I was able to decrease my HPF slope a bit and get a fuller range without distorting. They seem especially resonant around 700hz and can really scream. That makes them really cut through if you're highway jamming with the windows down. These are very well made compared to any consumer grade retail speaker and perform as such. If these stand the test of time, I will be using them from now on. Props to Deaf Bonce and D4S, my new car audio go-to. Awesome price for these!
