SUNDOWN AUDIO E v4 12" Subwoofer | 500W RMS DVC - 2 OHM

For those who like to go big or go home but on a budget, the Sundown Audio E v4 12" 500W RMS D2 Subwoofer is a perfect choice. With a double-stacked magnet structure and an extremely long voice coil, this subwoofer is designed for linear x-max of 14mm one-way. Additionally, the high mechanical clearances (over 2” peak-to-peak before physical coil bottom) give you plenty of room to experiment without fear of damaging your equipment. And if that wasn't enough, the E series V4 has been upgraded to a full 2.5” diameter coil (this started with the v.3), compared to the 2” coil of previous generations (v.1 and v.2). Plus, the tinsel leads have been upgraded to a new “Mini-XL” lead containing 63-strands of the conductor (a full XL is 84-strands and previous leads contained 42-strands) to help prevent potential failure due to amplifier clipping. Finally, the spider is a high-strength poly-cotton blend designed to handle the full capacity of the motor. So if you're looking for a powerful and reliable subwoofer, look no further than the Sundown Audio E v4 12" 500W RMS D2 Subwoofer. This design features a newly tooled, significantly stronger frame meant to resemble the cast frame on the SA v.2 and U series models.

    MASSIVE difference over Skar!

    I purchased this sub to swap out with the 12" 2ohm dvc sub that came in the Skar SK12TBV loaded bass tube and this EV12 D2 made way more of a difference than I imagined. It may only be 100 more watts but my bass went from a soft thump to rattling my ride. Wired the exact same, at 1ohm, and made no modifications to the Skar box at all. Running off a Kicker 500.1 Key amp wired off my factory head unit. This is my second Sundown sub I've owned and I can easily say I'm hooked on the brand for life now. Thanks Down4Sound for making my ride sound awesome!

    Must say. I have installed a good bit of these now for customers. And I have yet to be let down on the quality or performance. Over all wonderful subwoofer for the price!

    I got this baby in the carpeted skar prebuilt box with a Rockford prime 500/1 and I couldn't be happier!!!!!

    Absolutely good value and subwoofer I got 2 of these and they are excellent woofers great built amazing price I upgraded from 2 jl w3 12s and im still using a small rockford 500 watt amp make sure to give them some power they'll handle 250 watt rms a piece without breaking a sweat no joke! They do have a pretty good solid sound quality to them also! I'd buy again in a heart beat!!

    This 12 hits hard with a 500 rms Amp, very clear sharp deep base sound, would definitely recommend this sub for anyone that's wants great sound for a small budget!!
