Full-Range from ~300Hz on up (make sure to use an HPF filter on these).
These use a ferrite motor + neo pole cap, aluminum cone and dust cap, inverted rubbery surround, and custom tooled / vented stamped frame.
The SA-2.75FR is a direct factory replacement for 2.75" speakers often found in the dash location of Chrysler and many other new vehicles.
It is a full-range driver and features a built-in crossover capacitor to block frequencies below 200Hz for systems where external crossovers are not available (OEM replacements). The motor is a Neo based design utilizing split-gap technology for reduced distortion. The cone is the same wool-filled paper as the SA component set topped off with an aluminum dust-cap to increase high-end extension. The surround is an inverted rubber design to assist in off-axis response.
The SA-2.75FR is rated for 30-watts of RMS power based on a strenuous 8-hour test. Our custom tooled 2.75" frame features a vented spider plateau to help keep the voice coil cool. This power handling is increased by using a high-pass crossover.

Sundown 2.75 full range
Great after market add on for factory locations and add into a 3 way component set. They absolutely scream loud and clear for running off only 15 watts. Easy too install and just a quick satisfying upgrade hand down! I run these in all 3 of my vehicles currently.

Great Sounding midrange speakers
I added them to pair with my tweeters and they really opened up my sound! The combination of these speakers with the DSP made my car sound great! I picked them up to replace the bullet tweeters hoping they would be a direct replacement in my doors. I had to make some mounting rings because they were just a bit smaller, but once installed I don’t regret replacing those tweeters! Another win for Sundown!

By far the best sounding 2-3in driver ive ever heard
I’m an audio installer and I was very impressed with these, they have surprisingly good midbass as well as very crisp highs. Very nice response. Really disappointed these have been discontinued, I can think of so many applications. One of the things to note is they are not direct drop in replacements for Chrysler 300s 1st and 2nd generation as well as chargers. They are quite a bit smaller and do require a adapter plate for mounting. The other thing is stock drivers in these cars is 8ohm where these are 2ohm. While I wouldn’t normally recommend people to drop there stock headunit to such a low impedance, I haven’t had any issues at all. Go easy on the volume though don’t try to go full volume or you may permanently damage your headunit and possibly the speaker.

Great replacements
These Sundown SA2.75 FR are great replacements for those 2.75" speaker located in the corner of the dashboard in a lot of cars. Would definitely recommend if your gonna be replacing youf stock speakers in this location. Sundown products are top quality!
