I cannot believe the speaker cannot accept 8 gauge wire without trimming and struggling with it. The Audiopipe worth 1/2 as much has a better connection. This is my first Sundown so I am not sure if this is a thing with all of their speakers but it really caught me off guard that I would have to downgrade the wire to 10 gauge. I am sure it will work with a smaller gauge, but I have always used 8 gauge with 1000w+ rms speakers.
