SUNDOWN AUDIO U SERIES 12 (1500WRMS) D4 OHM

This is a great subwoofer The shipping was fast and the packaging was good.

I bought this sub as my first major upgrade to my audio system intending to pair it with an MTX 1501d. I've had it in my vehicle for nearly a year now and this thing is still going strong and now is running on 2500w of sweet b2 amplification. Talk about an underrated sub! I've never smelt any coil burn and have only felt the dust cap get warm a couple of times. I've gotten my money's worth plus a good amount extra out of this one. Highly recommend.

I would give a 5 star review for this, but one of my subs shipped missing the 4 piece stick on gasket. It was the one box that was opened to insert the D4S sticker. How ironic! Lol! I guess a strong gust of wind blew my speaker gasket out of the box and no one noticed! Lol! I contacted D4S several times about replacing the missing speaker gasket, with no response. I will be spending my money elsewhere now. Thanks D4S. You lost a customer.

All I can say is wow. I upgraded to U12s from Sa Classics. Wow huge difference in sound and running the same amp and I’m underpowered by at least 1000wrms. If your limited on room and can fit SA make the jump to U series. I’m impressed and amazed. Also the shirt is sweet too thanks JP and D4S! This was my first order and I’m a customer forever now.

Just got 2 12"s in the mail haven't installed them yet probably going to put a crescendo 4k on them if i get that amp but happy so far

The single X15 was hogging everything the DD M2C could put on it. Two of these on the same wattage have really outshined it. The lowlows aren't quite as pronounced, but everything else really pops and slams. Nice build quality too.

Very nice sub, hits really hard even with an old school kicker zx1500.1 amp. I think with an updated amplifier it’ll put out more. Shipping to Hi was really quick, overall great experience ordering from d4s. Thanks a bunch

These subs are absolutely beast there good looking too and will take a beating not sure why sundown decided to change up from the usual mounting gaskets to the metal rings and stick on gaskets but they make it a lot more difficult to invert them and also the screws are coming loose with less than a week of play time if it wasnt for that it would be 5 star for sure

Sundown audio U series 12s are awesome I am pushing them with an Orion xtr2500 in a 4th order box tuned to 32hz and they hit hard for electrical I only have an xs power battery running my car and my audio system so I know once I finish upgrading the rest of the electrical they’re going to sound louder
